basic stay with some issues

worn walls grubby carpet

the room felt quite worn down. i noticed scuffs on the walls and a large hole behind the tv. the windows seemed old and drafty also the carpet looked like it needed a good vacuum. it is a shame because the hotel has potential if it were updated.

decent location but worn

scratched paintwork black mould

car parking was convenient, and check in was easy.

the decor felt very tired. there was scratched paintwork everywhere, it needed some masking tape. grouting in the bathroom needed redoing with black mould spots. tv and wifi did not work.

The staff was friendly and helpful . I found a takeaway and grocery store close to the hotel. A private, spacious car park was available .

Sound isolation was not great, and I could hear some noise from the hallway.

I stayed for several nights as part of a trip. mr fernando, the receptionist, welcomed me nicely. he explained the hotel rules smoothly! i enjoyed the dining area. kinga booked my room at a good price over the phone. I appreciate her fast service.

The shower was not working the first night, and there was hair in it. the water was scalding hot. the wifi did not work. Someone with it knowledge helped me eventually? it was not straightforward.

this hotel is located on the other side of edinburgh. a railway station is close, a walking distance of 12 minutes, and the bus stop is literally close by, like 5-7 minutes. there is a shop and a quick fast food restaurant nearby.

There is lots of parking space available. The reception needs to know about the vehicle registration. mr fernando showed me the dining area. it looked well kept. i also received a helpful email response from michal.

the rooms were bigger than expected, with sitting in the outside area as well! miss kinga got me a good room. the room i purchased was for a good price. it was clean when i arrived.
