this hotel is near alton towers. we visited for a couple of days. i stayed here with family. food is very good and excellent. every member of staff was very friendly. i will come back.
i did not realize this was a dog friendly hotel. i could smell dog immediately when we entered our room. i think certain rooms should be used for dogs. other rooms should be for those without pets.

missing breakfast noises
the staff were friendly (that's something, i guess).
I booked a beautiful room, but it did not feel luxurious. slight noises were easily heard as the room seemed to be situated between private or rented rooms on either side. Breakfast was an additional £12 per person.

Mixed Experience, Some Issues Noted
dated room dirty shower head
Breakfast had a good variety of choices.
The room looked dated. The bathroom required attention, specifically some new grouting around the edges. The shower head needed a thorough cleaning as the water flow was initially obstructed.
