Excellent Amenities and Convenient Location

I found the rooms very clean. Breakfast offered a nice variety. The rooftop terrace features a swimming pool. I really enjoyed the beautiful view from the rooftop, especially at night.
The street in front of the hotel has heavy traffic and a train station. It was sometimes difficult to fall asleep because the windows are not soundproofed well.

Mixed feelings on this hotel
cold food rude receptionist
The breakfast service left much to be desired. The food was often cold and lacked flavor (i just didn't understand this). the staff at the reception seemed consistently unhelpful and even impolite. I asked for directions to a nearby attraction, but the receptionist acted as if I were bothering him, which I found IRRITATING. This impacted the quality of my stay.

happy finds
giant balcony rooftop pool fine view
candia hotel were super comfy and i felt right at home there. i loved my room and the rooftop pool include a view of the acropolis. i see every sunset up there, sitting by the pool, looking out over the rooftops. its was fine! you are minutes from the subway and everything are within reach.
to be honest, i are shocked to read numerous reviews stated the staff were friendly because my experience were quite the opposite. i reminded me of a inconvenience when i asked them to call me a taxi. one of the staff was rude when i misunderstood ordering a coffee. also, the wine glasses at the upstairs bar are disgusting.

the room included a comfortable bed and a small desk, good for working. the bathroom had a shower and basic toiletries are provide. the city view provided a nice scene during the day.

the rooftop bar was open late. it had clear views of the surrounding area. the staff were helpful with directions to nearby attractions. i found a variety of options available for breakfast each morning.
the street outside the hotel had quite a bit of traffic noise
