Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Piraeus Port Hotel is known for its modern and clean rooms, some even offering balconies with city views, and occasionally, a distant glimpse of the Parthenon. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the port and the Dimotiko Theatro metro station, making it easy to reach the airport; the city center is also a short walk away. A supermarket is nearby, though it's closed on Sundays; some guests have found the room doors not very soundproof, noticing noise from the corridor. A good breakfast is available for 10 euros and includes Nespresso coffee.

Excellent Value and Convenient Location

comfy bed short walk

The hotel room was well-equipped with numerous power and USB points, really handy! The bed was comfy, and I enjoyed a nice view from the sixth floor. A supermarket was just a short walk away. I found the location close to the bus stop for the airport bus and a short walk from shops.

The room was smaller than expected, and I found it difficult to store my luggage easily. The lift felt small. It got claustrophobic with three people.

Dining

9/10

Breakfast was available though not included in the price. It cost 10 euros per person. Refene Taverna offered good value Greek food about 200 meters away, perfect for trying local flavors. A supermarket is a short walk away.

Facilities

9/10

The hotel offers luggage storage, very useful for early arrivals or late departures. The 24-hour reception was super convenient after arriving from the airport at an awkward time. The staff could organize sightseeing trips if needed.

Rooms

10/10

The room included a balcony, offering distant views, I even spotted the Parthenon from afar. The condition of the room was comparable to a four-star hotel. Everything looked great! The room was spotlessly clean.

Location

9/10

The hotel stands a ten-minute walk from the Metro station, which I found easy to locate thanks to clear instructions. It also lies a ten-minute walk from the port for ferries to the islands. The bus stop for the airport bus is close.

Facilities

Dining
