the newly refurbished rooms had a very comfy bed. the perfectly cooked breakfast was delicious. i found the staff minutes from the seafront and helpful.
i did notice the door didn't lock, this was worrying. the windows were painted shut and couldn't be opened. there were no bins in the rooms.

a stay with mixed experiences
burnt baconabsent manager
The breakfast was not good. the bacon was burnt black and rock hard. the sausages tasted like chemicals and had a strange texture. I did not eat it. also, i never received a follow-up from the manager after reporting these issues at checkout, frustrating.

The room was damp. I could smell it from the bed. The ceiling had a visible corner with dampness, unpleasant. The grout in the shower had mould.

the room was very spacious (i stayed in a double room disability access). the shower was excellent. i found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
i noticed the wooden floor was dirty and dusty. it seemed it had not been mopped. i also heard people coughing in the next room because the walls are thin.

I noticed the restaurant looked lovely. I had a large, updated room, a spacious haven for rest. The shower was a walk-in, a small luxury I appreciated much. It helped me feel pampered after each day.
The grout in the bathroom had mildew, only a minor issue though.

I enjoyed the food. It felt comforting. I appreciated how the staff were friendly and always ready to assist. The dining room was well presented and clean, so it made our meals more enjoyable.

The room included useful in-room facilities. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The room felt spacious, as it allowed for plenty of hanging space. Daily cleaning was available, which I found excellent.
