excellent hotel
large room comfortable bed huge breakfast
the room was large and very clean. i found the bed wonderfully comfortable with great pillows. great black out curtains ensured i had the best sleep i have had in ages. the hotel breakfast is huge with so much variety. it was constantly being replenished and i was very impressed.
The tv size in my room could be improved. It felt a little small for the space.

the hotel reception was cool and airy when i arrived and it was well needed. i was welcomed by happy staff members. check in was quick and easy and i found the service great all around.

i enjoyed the bar area in the lobby and i found the food lovely. the prices were pretty much the same as in the uk. good quality drinks were available and the breakfast variety offered healthy and low fat options.

the location has a tram stop a short walk away that goes to the centre. taxis are available right outside the hotel. it was nice being just outside the city centre as i felt no pressure to do anything.

Acceptable Stay with a Few Issues
noisy air conditioning blocked bath drain
Breakfast had a wide variety of choices.
The rooftop restaurant was closed for refurbishment. My classic room felt dated, not what I expected for the price I paid. The air conditioning was also noisy. The toilet didn't flush well, and the bath drain was blocked. I found these issues unacceptable.
