cold room old mattress

the room was a good size, very quiet considering it was on a main road.

the room was cold during the night, even with the radiator turned up. i think it could really use a new mattress. the current one didn't provide enough support.

small shower sloping bed

i arrived to find the room less than ideal the shower was quite small i kept bumping my elbows against the walls. the toilet didn't flush well needing multiple attempts to clear. i also found the bed sloped noticeably making it difficult to sleep comfortably

The room was cozy. There was a sink in the room, comfortable considering it was a shared bathroom.

The bed was VERY hard. The shower cubicle seemed like a tight fit. I found the noise from the road quite distracting.

The twin room I stayed in overlooked the garden. The full English breakfast was AMAZING!!! The staff allowed me to leave my bags before check-in, which I needed.

The shower was rather small.

breakfast selection friendly staff excellent host slow wifi impacted ability rushed interactions

the breakfast offered a very good selection of items from a full english to cereals and yogurts. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i found james and his wife to be excellent hosts .

the wifi was quite slow . this impacted my ability to use the tv. james seemed a bit rushed during our interactions though he was nice.

my room had good size. breakfast were great. its a easy walk into the historic area, only fifteen minutes.

the cold tap had poor water pressure, i noticed.
