I received a very warm welcome upon arrival (a great start after a long day). The food was really good with a complete menu. Fast service accompanied the tasty dishes, it was all perfect.

The room was clean enough, but the emergency light near the bed was too bright. The walls seemed thin, I could hear noises, this impacted my ability to sleep well. I think soundproofing is needed.

The breakfast was fine. It had a full Scottish breakfast. It was large and tasted okay.

I was disappointed with my stay. The emergency light in the room shone too brightly at night. I could also hear everything through the paper-thin walls. It was hard to get a good night's sleep.

The location suited my needs well enough.

My room faced what I believe was the service entrance. Staff congregated there late at night. They talked loudly. This woke me up several times. the towels in the bathroom felt thin and rough.
