A WONDERFUL stay in the city!
central location friendly staff delicious food
I traveled with a group, and EVERYONE enjoyed their stay. The hotel is in a central location. Access from the station is easy, and the Gion area is a short walk. The staff is friendly and supportive. The restaurant offers delicious food, and the bar is fantastic.
The room was a little small, BUT it was manageable for a short stay.

The staff was always available and ready to assist with any inquiries. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the team was eager to offer tips for local exploration. Their really good service GREATLY enhanced my overall experience.

The restaurant serves AMAZING food, especially the local dishes (I loved the ramen!). The bar area is a relaxed space with a wide selection of drinks. I enjoyed spending my evenings there.

The comfy king room was super clean and well-kept. I found new towels and water in the room daily. The beds are REALLY comfy, great after long days exploring the city.

small shower bland breakfast
the shower was really small I found it difficult to move around. the door opened right into the shower space it was a tight squeeze. the breakfast options were quite limited. i expected more variety considering the hotel's rating i also found the western style breakfast rather bland and lacked seasoning.

mixed feelings about the size and service
missing tea bags limited breakfast
the location was convenient, about a 3-minute walk to gojo station.
the room lacked expected amenities. there was a kettle in the room but no tea bags or coffee (what's the point?). the breakfast was also quite limited, it did not live up to the 4-star expectation.

thai restaurant origami station small room limited storage
The hotel lobby features a really cool thai restaurant. It has a bar and an origami station! our room was super clean and modern. it included all the amenities we needed. I could not ask for more.
The room was quite small, even though its size was listed online. i noticed there was not much storage for clothing. That impacted my comfort a bit.

The staff helped us book yamato bag service to our next location. western-style beds were comfortable. the air control was awesome. I could adjust the thermostat to my liking. it was really convenient!
The breakfast options were limited. More variety would have been appreciated.

The hotel's design is thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing. Fresh scents greet you upon entry. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless. The staff's ability to speak English fluently aided communication significantly.
The breakfast selection lacked variety for halal guests. I felt somewhat limited in my options during the morning meal.
