a very average stay, sadly
damp smell dirty kettle
the location was decent, i'll give it that.
Upon arrival, my room reeked of damp. i noticed the kettle was also rather dirty and i didn't even have a spoon to stir my coffee! even worse, the shower rail decided to detach itself from the wall. Clearly, nobody cares about basic maintenance here.

a romantic escape
warm staff fresh breakfast lovely garden
I found the staff helpful and warm. Their attentiveness really shone. the cooked breakfast offered a fresh start to each day, with plenty of tasty options. i also really appreciated the lovely garden. It was perfect for basking in the sun and enjoying quiet moments together.
the lighting in the room was a little too dim for my liking.

the hotel features a beautiful garden area with ample seating, awesome for moments of relaxation. there is also a bar where guests can enjoy drinks with a 10% discount, and public parking is available. this is so convenient!!!

the hotel has a superb setting, only a short distance by car to a famous historic monument. this makes it ideal for exploring nearby attractions, and it's great because everything is so close. it is a walker's dream!!!

The service was great. The staff were super accommodating. michelle's warm welcome and organized setup enhanced my stay. the team provided great communication and some lovely touches , made all the difference.

coffee facilities fresh milk helpful staff
The location had EXCELLENT access to local attractions. My room included tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk. That was a HUGE plus. The staff were helpful .
The tv signal in my room wasn't very good.
