Rooms and Comforts
All guestrooms at Swiss Alpine Hotel Allalin include premium bedding, pillow menus, free WiFi, and safes. Rooms feature box spring beds with hygienic protective covers, internet TV, high-speed WiFi, laptop safe, tea-making facilities, and LED reading lamp. Rooms are brightened with hand-carved wooden ceilings. Each room provides views of the mountain landscape. Rooms are furnished individually. Some rooms include a south-facing balcony with Matterhorn view, or a balcony facing the village and the Mischabelberg range. The smallest room is a cosy "Schlafschtuba".
Culinary Variety
The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet. A wide range of hot and cold dishes and regional specialities are offered individually by trolley. The hotel bar offers wines. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine or nightcap at the hotel bar or around the fireplace. All-day tea selection is available in the Taugwalder Schtubje. Guests receive a welcome drink and a daily refreshment drink every afternoon.
Leisure Facilities
The wellness area offers free use of the Finnish sauna, bio sauna, aroma steam bath, and brine steam bath. Guests may try the latest models of well-known brands. Guests may take the cable car up to ' Klein-Matterhorn ' or the rack railway up to the ' Gornergrat '. Skiing is available with qualified, local ski instructors. Hiking through unspoilt Alpine countryside provides an ideal opportunity to escape everyday life.
Location and Access
Swiss Alpine Hotel Allalin is in the centre of Zermatt, halfway between the station and the cable car. It is a 10-minute walk from Zermatt and 80 km from Sion. The hotel is located on the village side, with open views of the mountain range with the Mischabel, Täschhorn, and Dom. The proximity and visibility of the original village centre with the imposing church and the public park and recreation zone can be seen. Cable cars are nearby. The hotel offers free transfers between the train station and the hotel.
