Average stay with some drawbacks.

noise levelsoundproofing issue
The noise level was a real issue. I could clearly hear conversations and music from the pub below until late. It made it difficult to relax and get to sleep. The provided earplugs did little to solve the problem. It was not an enjoyable experience. The room also lacked proper soundproofing. It needs to be addressed.

Staff helped with luggage to my room. The room had a good size.
The room was pretty basic. There was no window except a small frosted one above seven feet high. It faced a roof, stopping any fresh air.

The staff extended a warm welcome upon my arrival. My room was large, a good surprise. I appreciated the free car parking. It was most convenient.
I found a stale smell throughout the hotel. The outside door key did not work, a considerable inconvenience late at night. I also couldn't work the TV. Instructions would have been useful.
