Zuri Zanzibar has 56 bungalows, suites, and villas within a large tropical garden, a short walk from the Indian Ocean. Dining Experiences
Zuri Zanzibar offers European, African, Arabic, and Indian cuisine across three restaurants and four bars. The Upendo Restaurant serves international cuisine with an African and Indian Ocean twist, featuring live cooking shows. Maisha has an African vibe and ocean views. Bahari Grill and Bar serves finger food and drinks, with views of the Kendwa beach sunset. The Dhow Bar is on the semi-private beach for deluxe suites and villa guests.
Leisure Activities
Zuri Zanzibar offers a range of activities including a Spice Garden, yoga, meditation, and a gym. The Maua Wellness by Healing Earth has massage rooms and a salon. It provides massages, facials, body scrubs, manicures, pedicures, and couple rituals. The jacuzzi deck has sunbeds. The iconic "Sunset Zuri" event with a DJ or local live band takes place several evenings per week.
Location and Access
Zuri Zanzibar is in Kendwa, in the north-west of Zanzibar, about one hour by car (65 km) from Stone Town and the international airport. It is located on the west-facing shores of the island. Directions from Nungwi: via the Nungwi Road, 3km towards Kendwa. Directions from Kizimkazi Dimbani: via the Nungwi Road, 107 km towards Kendwa. Directions from Stone Town: Via the Malawi Road and Nungwi Road, 55 km towards Kendwa.
