Innsbruck's City Center Hotel

Hotel Zach enjoys a quiet location in a side street in the middle of the historic old town. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from Innsbruck's Old Town and the Main Train Station, and 200 metres from the State Museum of Tyrol-Ferdinandeum. The Schnitzer-Zach family's grey-fronted hotel is ideal for budget travellers.

Rooms and Apartments

The hotel offers a Panorama Apartment on the top-level floor, featuring views of Innsbruck and the surrounding alpine landscape. Standard Double Rooms include modern fittings and an extra-wide double bed. Family Rooms with separate sleeping areas are available. Rooms include a cable TV, safe, hairdryer, and a bathroom with shower. Some rooms have direct access to the garden. Certain units have a seating area. The Panorama double room with balcony leaves nothing to be desired. Standard rooms on the street side can be noisy at weekends.

Breakfast and Bistro

The Zach Hotel offers a daily breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as traditional Tyrolean bacon. Guests can expect fresh fruit, rolls, yoghurts, ham and cheeses, with gluten-free bread available by request upon check-in. A lavish buffet breakfast is served in the mornings from 07:00 until 10:00. Guests can enjoy everything from cereals to ham, eggs, juices, coffee, freshly baked bread and welcoming service. There is a bistro on ground floor where guests can enjoy homemade Tyrolean dishes at lunch.

Hotel Services

This family-run hotel is a good base for exploring the city. Guests can park directly in the the driveway at the main entrance. Guests arriving after 10:00pm are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance; the key will be deposited in a safe in an envelope at the reception. The hotel is actually only a hop, skip and jump away from the ski slopes and several climbable peaks.
