mixed experience with some drawbacks
lukewarm food undrinkable coffee
The food was quite average, and i found it was often only lukewarm. (i expect hot meals!) the free coffee was bad. It tasted undrinkable. while there's a costa coffee in reception, it often wasn't staffed, and i had to hunt someone down to serve me.

convenient stay!
evening meal iron board british food
the hotel included both breakfast and an evening meal in the price, i thought that was great. i found the options in the restaurant for the evening meal pretty good! there are areas with irons and boards available for the rooms. the hearty british food suited me well!
Pillows on the bed were uncomfortable! this needs improvement. A good sleep is essential for travellers.

The room included a tv and kettle, which i used. i found that the room was warm! modern ensuite bathrooms were a plus for me. This made getting ready in the morning easy.

superb food excellent bar salad bar
I loved the superb food. The bar area and the Costa were excellent!!! I think more staff would improve the service. The salad bar was a welcomed addition!!!

the shower was good. i found a really good choice of food. this hotel provides very good value i highly recommend.
the paving stones along the walkways have sunk in places causing puddling
