The Wilson's Arms is often praised for its spacious rooms and comfortable beds, ensuring a pleasant stay, with some guests specifically highlighting the fabulous showers. Many appreciate the convenience of onsite apartments with well-equipped kitchens and hot tubs, ideal after a day exploring nearby attractions like Hardknot Pass. Dining experiences receive positive feedback, particularly the poached eggs and salmon, as well as the availability of freshly cooked meals and a wide selection of real ales; some guests have, however, noted occasional issues with room allocation upon arrival. The pub's proximity and the option to purchase snacks for walks from the adjoining deli add to the hotel's appeal.

My room featured a very nice bath and views. The staff seemed friendly. I appreciated the easy access and ample parking available.
Shower doors did not close correctly. There was no shelf for soap in the shower. Some lights were too dim for reading. All doors to the hotel closed.
