The hotel sits right by the lake and a nice park. Staff were quite helpful when i needed to change my room to a quieter spot. the breakfast had many options and tasted delicious, I was Grateful for that.
I noticed the hotel could use better lighting. my room on the lower level felt rather dark, even WITH the lights on. this made it a little difficult to see properly at night.

i found a clean, standard room that included a waterfront view, a pleasant surprise. the location was central to the waterfront area, so i could walk to various restaurants and the village square. i appreciated the friendly staff that was able to check me in early, and i found the area beautiful for walking. storing my tandem overnight was not an issue, thanks to the staff's helpfulness.
i noticed a few small holes in the duvet cover, slightly distracting.

the hotel sits right on lake ontario. there is a walking path around the lake with spots to sit and enjoy the sun. the restaurant attached to the hotel was quite good with excellent salads.
my room faced the laundry room. there was a lot of noise from the room upstairs until after midnight. i had to complain since the phone in my room did not work
