solid stay near the sea

the family room sea view was perfect. i could see the pleasure beach and the big wheel from the window. i enjoyed waking up to the sea view each morning.

i noticed there was no parking available in the backstreets. this was different from what was advertised, causing some inconvenience.

there was plenty of tea and coffee available and the staff refilled it daily! the availability made mornings easier. i appreciated having those simple comforts available.

The location was great. A tram stop was across the road. The rooms were super clean and cozy. The person who attended to us was friendly.

The lift did not work. I was on the fifth floor! The photos were misleading, showing the hotel under previous management. The current owner was abrupt after taking payment.

Some Issues I Faced During My Stay

The room temperature was really low. I felt the bedsheets were not changed during my six-night stay. The towels also went unchanged and the bin was not emptied once.

water issue unreachable customer service

i found the lack of water quite annoying , as a leak supposedly caused this. i returned to my room at night to discover this issue persisted. the toilet was not usable , and basic hygiene became a challenge. customer service seemed unreachable , and the room was uncomfortably cold.

the location proved convenient as everything i wished to see was nearby. i found the staff wonderfully friendly. the room included tea and coffee, replenished daily. it had comfortable beds offering restful sleep.

the stairs required a climb i hadn't fully anticipated.

convenient and clean stay

excellent location helpful staff wood furniture

the location was excellent near central pier. dave was helpful when i arrived and told me my room was ready early. the wood furniture was a nice touch, and the fan was useful since there is no air conditioning.

the room was very small and had a tiny window. the bathroom was ok, but the bath seemed unsafe near the tap. i was afraid i would fall through it while showering.
