The hotel grounds were beautiful. I appreciated that the staff were helpful. The hotel was immaculately kept. It created a very positive experience. The hotel has direct access to the town through the back gate.

The road through the medieval village was sometimes closed, so getting to the hotel required some planning.

The breakfast spread included prosecco. Hot food items were available to order a la carte. I especially enjoyed the delicious pastries offered as part of the breakfast service. They were nice.

i stayed in a superior lake view. the view was great directly overlooking the lake. breakfast had a superb choice and presentation. it was a short walk into town which was convenient.

the road through the town was closed. i had to drag luggage for quite a distance through cobblestone streets. this was not ideal for a hotel of this supposed standard. sheets felt rough and there were many mosquitos.

The gardens spanned five hectares with artistic arrangements of trees and various flowers (a true masterpiece!). I also noticed the hotel had amazing art features. The breakfast offered fresh items and was delicious. I appreciated the live piano music.

The bistro had new management this year. I found them not very customer-focused. I was surprised to pay 70 euros per night for my small dog. (He is less than 5 kg.)

The staff was very efficient and super friendly! the facilities are 5-star. The lido and jetty down at the lake caught the eye of many passersby. i found the grounds immaculately kept, and the security gates provided peace of mind. driving up the long path to the hotel seemed like entering another world. It was a wow place!

I had a slight issue with the bistro's new management. They were not very client-oriented, which impacted the atmosphere a little.
