Hotel Villa Convento, New Orleans

The Villa Convento offers suites, balcony rooms, loft rooms, and courtyard queen rooms. Suites, located on the fourth floor of the main house, feature a king-size bed, TV, and a sitting room with a daybed; they provide views of the river and the Vieux Carre rooftops. Balcony rooms offer views of Ursulines Street. Loft rooms, situated on the third floor in the courtyard, are split-level and include a staircase to a loft with three twin-size beds, plus a king-size bed on the lower level. Courtyard queen rooms are bright and airy, with views of the courtyard. Jimmy Buffett filmed a documentary on his early life in New Orleans in Apt 305. The Campo family purchased the hotel in 1983 and continue to offer old world charm with desk service staffed by family and long time friends.
