Location and Transportation
Victoria Forest Resort is located on Bugala Island, the largest of the 84 islands in the Ssese archipelago, situated in the northwestern part of Lake Victoria, Uganda. The resort is 70 km from Entebbe International Airport. For guests arriving via the Entebbe route, free pickup is available upon docking at Lutoboka Bay. Pickups from Kampala or Bugoma Landing Site (Bukakata Route) are available for a fee. Transportation to Bugala Island from Nakiwogo (Entebbe) takes 1 hour and 15 minutes via the Nyanza Evergreen Waterways Company vessels, or 3 hours and 30 minutes via the MV Kalangala.
