Fine Stay Inside Palace Walls

delicious breakfast helpful staff great van clean room

My stay include a breakfast with cheeses and fresh fruits. The staff carried our suitcases. The hotel arranged a transfer in a great van. Rooms were clean. The location is in the heart of the Palace. I loved the sounds of singers.

I found the layout a little confusing because the reception is in a separate building.

Staff assisted with luggage and provided recommendations. They packed breakfast to go, which I found very kind. The transfer was well organized with a good driver.

the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, so that was acceptable.

the rooms are quite small and feel a bit cramped. the reception and guest rooms are in separate buildings, a bit confusing. i almost got lost trying to find my way around..

The breakfast was acceptable. Nothing too special, but i didn't leave hungry.

Finding the place was a bit of a challenge, dragging luggage over cobblestones isn't my idea of fun. the room, a 'standard double room villa dobric', was in a separate building some distance away. It was like an afterthought. also, the stairs were quite steep. Not ideal after a long day of travel.

historical charm and great service

excellent location helpful staff

the location was excellent being within the palace walls. it made exploring very easy and convenient. the staff were very helpful arranging taxis and assisting with luggage. the room had exposed stonework making the stay feel historical.

the tiered breakfast presentation looked excellent initially. however, one morning some meat seemed dried. raspberries also had mold.

the super nice team! the room was in the villa away from the main building. it was double height with rooftop views from both sides. breakfast was beautifully presented like an afternoon tea! it was more than enough to fuel the day.

the curtains could do with hanging properly. the tea was served in a single person cup and pot, it had a badly cracked cup each time! i mentioned it but it was back on the table the next day. my plate had 3 chips out of it and i had to ask for it to be replaced.
