Retro Fun and Convenience
retro theme multiple food useful kitchenette free shuttle
The hotel's retro theme is charming. The multiple food venues offered diverse options. The kitchenette in the family suite was very useful. I liked the free shuttle service. It ran to the parks every 10-15 minutes.
The selection at the hotel restaurant was limited. (but this is not a big deal!).

efficient shuttle bowling alley convenient meals
the shuttle service was efficient it provided transport to the parks often. i liked the on-site bowling alley it offered a good entertainment option. the quick service food options provided convenient meals throughout my stay.
the tap water had a noticeable chlorine taste it wasn't very appealing.

groovy getaway
various activities bus service evening fun
the pools offer various activities. the bus service to universal parks worked great. i enjoyed the bowling alley for some evening fun.
the arcade games need updating.

meh stay with issues
dusty surfaces poor soundproofing
the location was close to the parks so transportation was readily available.
the room felt a little unclean there was dust everywhere the curtains had stains and some of the surfaces were sticky. the noise level was surprisingly high i could hear conversations and other noises from neighboring rooms i think the soundproofing is not good.

convenient location excellent bus service charming decor disappointing food court impolite staff
the location was really convenient for the parks the bus service was excellent. i thought the 50's/60's decor was a charming touch too
the food court was disappointing it reminded me of elementary school lunches. i also found that some of the diner staff were impolite when i asked about refilling the hot drink machines

I really liked the shuttle buses to the universal parks. The hotel offered food and also souveniers. We had a family suite and it had a refrigerator. i found a microwave too in the room.
The towels looked frayed and torn. the bed had lumpy pillows. I found them uncomfortable. the closet door even feel off.

convenient shuttle friendly staff nice pools
the staff was friendly and helpful, a definite plus. shuttle service to the parks was very convenient and easy. there were nice pools available on site for relaxation.
the canteen area seemed a bit dated, so i chose not to eat there.
