The restaurant is open daily, serving food from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, featuring fresh, regional dishes. The menu includes schnitzel fries, blue trout, and regional specialties such as organic trout from the Blausee. The wine cellar offers Swiss and international wines, including a soon-to-be 20-year-old Rioja. Homemade apple strudel and roasted crème are also available. The property offers a rich breakfast buffet with Prosecco or a non-alcoholic option.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests can use the fitness center, the largest in Kandersteg, free of charge. A sauna is available for private use, accommodating up to 4 people, with options for a Finnish sauna or an organic herbal sauna. In winter, Kandersteg is a Nordic skiing center with ski jumps and cross-country trails. There is tobogganing at Oeschinensee, ice walking, and ice skating. In summer, find climbing and mountaineering routes. Combine this with an ice walk on the frozen lake, maybe even ice skating.
