The hostel is housed in an old building with a classic stone archway leading from the street-side entrance through a tunnel adorned with a charming city skyline line drawing, to the reception desk. Spaces are designed so you get to live unforgettable experiences and make new friends. There are things to look at everywhere, from piles of books and interesting wall art to directions drawn on the floor. Guests even become part of the artwork.

Location and Transport
TOC Hostel Barcelona is in Eixample, home to a multitude of Modernist buildings and structures, adorned with glass, wood, wrought iron, and ceramics. It's also less than 10 minutes on foot to MACBA, the contemporary art museum. Landmarks nearby include Parc Guell (3.5 km), Gothic Quarter (1 km), Camp Nou (3.5 km), Cathedral of Barcelona (1 km), Basilica of the Sagrada Familia (2.5 km), The Magic Fountain (2 km), Placa d'Espanya (1.5 km), and Casa Batllo (1.5 km). There is a bus stop opposite the hostel, which connects to many parts of the city, including the beach in about 30 minutes, or Gaudi's Park Guell in about 45-minutes. The trip to Plaza Cataluña costs around €5. From the Nord bus station, you can take the H16 bus and get off in Plaza Universitat or take the metro in Arc de Triomf (red line 1) until Universitat, just a couple of stops away.
