About Thunderbird Lodge
Thunderbird Lodge, with contemporary style and natural touches, provides lodging at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The hotel is in the Historic District. The comfortable rooms offer views of the canyon or Historic Village streets. The location is directly on the Rim Trail, spanning from Hermits Rest to the Kaibab Trailhead (12.8 miles).
Rooms and Amenities
Many rooms at Thunderbird Lodge provide partial canyon views. Room options include one king bed or two queen beds. Each room includes a full bath, refrigerator, flat-screen television with satellite channels, telephone, hair dryer, coffeemaker, and safe. Microwaves are not available. Accessible rooms are available. Rooms are accessed by stairs only; there are no elevators. Smoking in rooms incurs a $175 charge.
