clean room refrigerator appliance helpful staff abysmal service eating utensil long wait
the room was very clean (it felt fresh). there was a refrigerator. it was uncommon, so i appreciated it. the staff put out a carpet for you, literally.
the restaurant service was abysmal. it was hard to get eating utensils. i waited a long time for the check. i eventually had to ask for it at the bar (this took time).

Really good stay with attentive staff

The staff was helpful , ensuring all needs were promptly addressed. Aileen, for example, was fantastic and went above expectations. Breakfast offered a good assortment of options. The delicious spread ensured a great start to each day. The bar staff proved consistently helpful throughout my two nights. Their service really stood out. The location suited me perfectly, providing convenient access to both the town and the nearby areas.

The room was spacious and super clean, appointed with modern decor. It provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The executive double room included a large, comfortable bed and ample space to move around. All amenities were provided. This ensured a convenient stay.

The staff demonstrated consistent attentiveness, addressing every request with efficiency and grace. The team consistently were pretty good. They were friendly and accommodating to everyone. Front desk representatives were helpful and quick to assist when needed.

Breakfast offered an excellent range of choices, coupled with top-quality service and cuisine. This ensured a good start to the day. Lunch and bar fare were highly palatable, prepared with fresh ingredients, and nicely presented. The restaurant provided excellent meals! Though service was occasionally slow.

adequate stay
easy walk helpful staff firm mattresses worn carpet
the rose hotel was spacious and well located. it is an easy walk to the city centre (through the rose park and rose gardens, you know). the reception staff were lovely, very helpful and responsive.
during our recent trip, we stayed at seven different hotels, and unfortunately, the rose hotel had the most uncomfortable and overly firm mattresses. the carpet in our room was old and worn, and in need of replacement. it gave the room an unclean appearance and detracted from the overall feel of the stay.

the staff were consistently helpful. the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options and included hot dishes. the location was convenient, with access to nearby attractions. the bar had a good selection of drinks.
the bathroom had a small shower over the bath. the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. the gym was quite small, and some equipment seemed outdated. i also noticed a broken tile in the bathroom.

blackout curtains on-site parking additional entertainment
The rooms have excellent blackout curtains so sleeping was easy. i enjoyed the convenience of on-site parking. there is a cinema and a swimming pool next to the hotel. This provides additional entertainment options.
the bathroom shower had a curtain that stuck to me during showers.
