missing tiles cold pool

I discovered a couple of details that didn't quite match the hotel's reputation. The much-touted spa had sections out of order. I found some mosaic tiles missing from the walls sitting on the ground, quite the decorative touch. The pool was also uncomfortably cold . It seems someone forgot to check if everything was actually working properly.

Really good Stay, A Return Visit Delight

My January visit provided a welcome experience. The staff exhibited friendliness upon arrival. Our immaculate room was quite comfortable. Breakfast offered both buffet and kitchen options with variety. I also enjoyed a nice dinner at the bar.

I did find the gym access a bit limited, as it doesn't open until 9 AM. The small size could accommodate only two people at once. It is just a box room containing four pieces of equipment.

The staff were polite, readily assisting with directions and requests. Christopher stood out with his really good service. (It's always nice to encounter dedicated individuals). Their attentiveness elevated my experience.

Colgan's Bar is available for dining due to the Yew Tree closure on certain days. Breakfast featured the best I had in Ireland, with an excellent selection. Colgan's Bar offers a lovely meal.

Our room included nice views overlooking the forest in the national park. Rose petals adorned the bed upon returning from dinner. The executive suite was especially amazing (a nice touch!).

The spa facilities are gorgeous with an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. I enjoyed the massage that proved relaxing. The location provides direct access to Killarney National Park. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Comfortable Stay Near National Park

clean hotel friendly staff cozy atmosphere efficient service

I stayed one night to celebrate an anniversary. Staff was efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The bar had a cozy atmosphere. The staff chatted with me.

The bathroom sinks had a sewer smell I did not like. I would not recommend it for that reason.
