The Portage Resort has Weka Rooms, nestled among native bush; Korimako Rooms, featuring views across the hotel down to Portage Bay; Kereru Rooms, offering more space and light with views of Portage Bay and a sunroom; and Tui Terraces, providing views of the Kenepuru Sound. Two-bedroom Korimako Rooms are available for families, with two levels, two private decks, and space for up to five guests in configurations of either a super king and three singles or two kings and one single bed. Rooms include a contemporary ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge.

Guests can dine at the Portage Restaurant & Bar, which offers fresh, contemporary food and a Marlborough wine list. Casual pub-style fare is available at the Snapper Bar & Eatery, a local spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with waterfront dining. The Snapper Bar & Eatery provides classic Kiwi 'Fish n Chips ' and other Kiwi favourites. The Portage Restaurant & Bar offers authentic and local food experiences showcasing the Marlborough region.

Location & Transportation

The Portage hotel's central location in Marlborough allows an easy reach from anywhere in New Zealand. It is 60 km from Picton and accessible in just 15 minutes by ferry from Picton to the Torea Bay wharf, followed by a 4-minute drive or a 30-minute walk. Blenheim Airport has multiple flights arriving daily from major cities, including Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The hotel provides transfers to and from Torea wharf at designated times.
