“The Old School Hotel clearly benefits from its setting in picturesque Port Isaac, and what I found appealing was its blend of Cornish heritage with modern comforts. Its dual identity as a filming location and a genuine family-run hotel appears to give it a unique charm and sense of place, especially with its proximity to the harbor and access to coastal paths. For a relaxed stay with character, it strikes me as a compelling choice.”

the room overlooked the harbour, it was the (religious education) room. the building has a lovely dining room, i thought the breakfast was good. the hotel is in a good position in the village, and i was able to use the parking for £8 per night.

delicious breakfast good choices great location easy walk great village small room uncomfortable bed high price
i found the breakfast to be delicious with good choices on offer. the location was also great. it was easy to walk around the village from here.
My room was quite small. The bed was not very comfortable. i also felt the hygiene could have been better. the price, in my opinion, was a bit high for what it offered.

generally positive stay
lovely location hotel car park expensive price small bathroom
the location was lovely, we stayed in the english large double room, a beautiful view was included. paying for parking in the hotel car park was worth it, because it is very steep back to the main car park.
for the price i paid per night, the room was not up to par. the bathroom was most disappointing with only a tub with sprayer head and i could not stand fully either.
