Rooms at The Margate
The Margate on Lake Winnipesaukee offers 17 room types across three buildings: the Lake Building, West Building, and Inn Building. Lake Building rooms feature views of Lake Winnipesaukee, flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, and stainless steel mini-fridges. The West Building has motel-style rooms near the beach with partial lake views and room-side parking. Inn Building rooms, located across from the beach, are larger and next to the outdoor pool; Family Suites and Hospitality Suites are available. All rooms provide coffee makers, irons, ironing boards, and hair dryers.
Dining at The Margate
The Gazebo Beach Bar serves lunch and dinner, offering specialty cocktails and beers on tap; professional staff provide waterside service. During summer, complimentary coffee and fresh fruit are available in the Courtyard Bistro. The Hot Breakfast Buffet is offered in July and August for $14 per adult, $9 per child (under 12), and free for children under 3. Blackstones Restaurant serves breakfast during the summer season.
Leisure and Entertainment
The Margate provides a 400-foot private sandy beach for sunbathing and swimming, indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, and a sauna. Guests can use kayaks and paddleboards (available for rent) to explore Paugus Bay, swim to the floating raft or make use of the Fitness Center, which features multi-weight stations, treadmills, exercise bikes, and dumbbells. An arcade GAME ROOM is available during the summer. The West Lawn is available for outdoor recreational events and activities.
