The original photo that inspired the hotel logo is behind the front desk. The rooftop bar is open seasonally, weather permitting, and closes from November to April. During closure, guests can take drinks from the Lounge Bar to the rooftop seating area.

Located in downtown Boone on King Street, The Horton Hotel is across from the Mast General Store. Appalachian State Campus is within walking distance. The hotel is 100 km from Tri-Cities Regional. Parking is behind the hotel on Howard Street; specific parking instructions must be followed.
