Area Beaches
The hotel is near multiple beaches. Gefira Beach is near the Castle of Monemvasia and includes small pebbles, easy parking, restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops. Ampelakia, six kilometers south of the Castle of Monemvasia, offers a sandy beach with cantina service in the summer. The main beach in Neapoli, a large sandy beach awarded with the blue flag, offers organized sections and nearby restaurants, stores, and cafes. Simos beach has been nominated as one of the best in the world and it is located about 4 km away from the port.
Location and Access
The Flower of Monemvasia Hotel is in the centre of Monemvasia, 200 km from Kalamata Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos. It is easily accessible by car and provides parking. The hotel is near the Castle of Monemvasia and the beaches of Elafonisos, Plytra, Archaggelos, and Kyparissi. It's near the village of Agios Ioannis and features a sandy beach. It's near a watermill you can get to by following the stone path from the village of Talanta for about a 10-minute walk.
