Rooms at The Beehive

The Beehive offers accommodations to suit various budgets, including female-only 4-bed dorms with personal lockers, ceiling fans, AC, and balconies. Hairdryers are provided. Mixed-gender dorms are available in 4 and 6-bed configurations with personal lockers, ceiling fans, AC, personal lights, and outlets. Beds are made upon arrival, and towel rental is available for a small fee. Shared bath options include ceiling fans and AC, with 5 bathrooms serving 7 guestrooms, and sinks in the rooms. Ensuite bath rooms feature AC, a private bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. Some ensuite rooms include a private balcony, a safe for valuables, and an independent entrance.

Onsite Food Options

Guests can enjoy homemade bagels each morning (Monday-Thursday) for €2 each, or €3 with butter, cream cheese, and jam. The Beehive hosts small family-style dinners for €15 per person, and homemade vegetarian dinners feature a revolving menu based on seasonal ingredients. Cooking classes are offered a couple of times a week, where you'll learn to make ravioli, tagliatelle and Roman-style pizza completely by hand. Steve sometimes teaches a hands-on pasta-making class. Every evening around 18:30, guests can meet each other over drinks and snacks, and sometimes free pizza.

Leisure and Socializing

The Beehive has a courtyard garden for relaxation at any time of day. The living room is set up with chairs, a couch, and a desk for remote work, reading, or board games. Aperitivo evenings are held every evening, and quiz and games nights are hosted by volunteers on the weekends. Social walks are organized to various parts of the city for €10, ending with coffee, gelato, drinks, or dinner.
