Guests can self-cater in the open-plan kitchen, equipped with a small domestic electric fan oven, a large domestic electric fan oven, a large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, 2 electric kettles, 2 electric toasters, sterilizer, wash basin and drainer, cooking pans, knives, jugs, and general equipment. Crockery, cutlery, and glassware are available for at least 40 people, along with corkscrews, bottle openers, cling film, greaseproof paper, foil, and kitchen roll. The open plan kitchen/diner overlooks the large gardens. Alternatively, catering services can be arranged, or breakfast can be prepared daily. The Woolpack Inn, a sister property, is a short drive away and offers breakfast from 8 am and pizzas until 10 pm.

Stanley House features extensive gardens leading to the River Esk, suitable for picnics and games. Bike hire is available.
