The hotel is in the middle of the hiking area, and mountain bike tours start at the hotel. The Amadé adventure and family spa in Altenmarkt is a 15-minute drive away. Landmarks nearby include Game and Leisure Park Untertauern (3.5 km), Shuttleberg GmbH & Co KG (5 km) and Absolut Park (5 km).

Hotel Sportwelt offers a lockable changing room and luggage room with lockers for valuables, a shower and a WC. There is a training ground and collection point of the Skischule Top Alpin Walchhofer right next to the hotel, with learning to ski in a playful way with the ski school mascot penguin Bobo.
