a gem in the heart
central location beautiful views wide variety
i really appreciated the central location, so close to everything i wanted to see (exploring was easy). the rooftop bar had beautiful views, i could relax with a drink while enjoying the scenery. the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and a chef cooking eggs to order.
the street noise was sometimes a bit loud, especially early in the morning.

I appreciated the central location. It was very close to most places I wanted to visit. The staff helped me a lot . I especially enjoyed the rooftop restaurant. I found the fish curry and rice delicious. The pool was clean and easy to access from my room. I enjoyed my stay a lot.
The wifi was bad in most parts of the building.

The rooftop restaurant had such a lovely view! the food was seriously tasty there too. staff were attentive to us. I got water in my room quickly whenever i asked! the bed in my suite was the most comfortable i've had on this trip
I requested a room change because the paint in my tiny room was peeling. also the hotel reception itself needs some tlc as some tiles are loose! i only got one bottle of water each day in the room. i needed more for drinking and brushing my teeth. I even had to buy an inverter so i could charge my devices because there was no usb port available

central location rooftop restaurant friendly staff great transfer prices
The hotel is in the center of Stone Town. I easily reached everything on foot, very convenient. The rooftop restaurant offers AMAZING views during breakfast. Staff helped me arrange trips and transfers at friendly prices.
The air conditioning in my room was somewhat old, so it took a while to cool the room.

helpful staff rooftop terrace perfect location
i found the staff very nice and helpful. they always had a smile. the rooftop terrace was a wonderful place for drinks, dinner and breakfast. the location was in the heart of the shopping area.
I noticed crows dining near us and bad reception management with no client relationship demonstrated. There were no pleasantries, thank yous, or assistance.

The air conditioning worked very well. The rooftop restaurant provided a beautiful setting for breakfast and dinner. I appreciated the attentive staff (they were always ready to help). The location was central and near many attractions.
The bathroom fan was connected to the light. I could not use the fan without the light also being on.
