Rooms and Suites

The Southern Hotel provides various room types, including deluxe double-double bedrooms and traditional king bedrooms. Rooms feature waffle knit robes, LCD screen TVs, mini refrigerators, in-room safes, bedside outlets for mobile charging, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Each room includes ironing facilities and a hairdryer. The King ADA rooms feature Audubon prints, custom headboards, plantation shutters, a traditional writing desk, and an elegant walk-in shower designed for limited mobility. The Walker Percy Suite includes a separate living room area, a deluxe pillow-top mattress, a record player, and a large marble bathroom with dual vanities, a garden tub, and a separate shower. The Thomas Sully Suite is a VIP suite with a living room area and an attached king bedroom. The Hibiscus Suite features custom floral wallpaper and colorful modern furnishings, with en suite bathrooms in each bedroom. The Dragonfly suite features custom dragonfly wallpaper and an elegant walk-in shower. The Palm Suite features custom palm leaf wallpaper and colorful modern furnishings.

Onsite Dining

The hotel's restaurant, The Gloriette, is led by Chef Alex Harrell and features local and French-inspired cuisine. The restaurant's lush indoor garden setting includes verdant murals. The Gloriette is open daily and serves brunch on weekends. Cypress Bar offers beer and whiskey tastings, live music, Walker Percy Wednesdays, and Hers Day every Thursday, with happy hour specials. The Gloriette will open in the next few months. Menus are prepared and executed by the hotel's executive chef, Steven Marsella.

The Greenwood, located 3 miles away, features the Jasmine Courtyard, the Grand Oaks Ballroom, and the Acorn Room and Terrace.
