Rooms with a View

Silks Place Taroko Hotel has 160 rooms, some facing the mountain to the west and others overlooking the Gorge. All rooms include air conditioning, free WiFi, safes, and pillow menus. Each room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Rooms feature a tea/coffee maker, mini-bar, sitting area, a terrace, ironing facilities, electric kettle, AM/FM alarm clock, carpeted floor, and parquet floor. The 40 square-meter room, designed with Japanese style has 1 king bed for up to 2 guests. Located on the ground floor, covering 40 square-metre, this room features Taroko Gorge views through the French window. The magnificent scenery and lulling sounds of running water create a natural repose.

Dining Options

Silks Place Taroko Hotel has two restaurants, Mei Yuan Restaurant and Wellesley Restaurant, offering international cuisine and local cuisine. Mei Yuan Restaurant serves Chinese and Western dishes. Wellesley Restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The hotel also has a coffee shop, a bar/lounge, and a poolside bar.

Leisure and Activities

Guests can use the outdoor pool, indoor pool, and outdoor tennis court. Free weekly activities include yoga and aerobics classes. The rooftop infinity pool and hot tubs abut a lounge area that transforms into an open-air cinema at dusk. A kids' club provides entertainment ranging from traditional activities to computerised sports simulators. The property features a yoga room and fitness centre on the edge of the Gorge. The indoor swimming pool will be going through renovation works from 31st Aug until 31st Oct, the indoor swimming pool and outdoor whirlpool will be remain normal service hour. Guests can relax at the full-service spa with massages, body treatments, and facials.

Silks Place Taroko Hotel is the only five-star hotel in Taroko Gorge. Xiulin town, with shops and restaurants, is a short walk away. Landmarks nearby include Lushui-Wenshan Trail (2.5 km), Baiyang Trail (1.5 km), Yuewangting (2 km), Cave of Water Curtain (0.5 km), Yue Fei Pavilion (0.5 km), Taroko National Park (1.5 km), Tianxiang Recreation Area (0.5 km), Cimu Bridge (2.5 km), and LuShui Trailhead (2.5 km). The property provides shuttle service from Hualien Railway Station and Hualien Airport. Hualien is 40 km away.
