The staff was helpful and pleasant.

The breakfast was awful and was not as described on the menu (I think they were short-staffed). The TV in the bedroom did not work unless I used my own account for BBC and Prime. The room was not serviced other than adding tea and milk. There was no cleaning, linen change, or waste removal.

i enjoyed my visit recently. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i found the room spacious and modern. the bed provided restful sleep. the menu in the bar had many choices. i especially enjoyed eating on the back patio.

the hotel is located just off the main street. it gives a sense of security and quietness, yet it is easily accessible, we loved it. it is also close to several attractions, easily reached by car.

early bar closingdomestic incident

I found a couple of issues . The bar closed TOO early for me to get food (i was still hungry!). There was also a domestic incident outside one night. Police made an arrest, but the guy returned the next morning. It was UNnerving to wake up to him screaming at his partner.
