Tent Lodges are located in the jungle safari, surrounded by 200 monkeys, and include a refrigerator. Adventure Lodges feature a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, along with a refrigerator, a television, a radio, and Wi-Fi. Jungle Lodges offer a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, plus a refrigerator, a television, a radio, and Wi-Fi. Ranger Lodges are mobile pickups with fully equipped camper bodies, including a double bed, a bench that turns into another bed, a wetroom with a shower, and a toilet.

Dining Options

The Manyara Restaurant provides group dining options, including schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, roasted chicken breast topped with tomato and mozzarella cheese, steamed pollack fillet in lemon butter sauce, and vegan vegetable pan with Kritharaki rice noodles. It also provides options like pasta with tomato sauce or Bolognese, fish nuggets with french fries, and chicken nuggets with french fries. A breakfast buffet is available for caravan owners for 14 euros per person. The Zanzibar restaurant also offers dining options. Guests in the Tongasoa lodges can purchase food and daily necessities in the mini-market at the reception. Each lodge has a full kitchenette with utensils for cooking.

Leisure and Entertainment

Serengeti Park combines a zoological garden and a theme park. Guests can view 1,500 wild animals on a 10-kilometer safari, either on the safari bus for 6.50 euros per person or in their own car. The Adventure Safari offers over 40 rides and shows. The jungle safari provides a chance to watch about 200 primates without cage barriers. Playgrounds are available to dusk. The park features lions, tigers, rhinos, antelopes, elephants and other animals. The new island area gives a chance to watch 200 primates without cage barriers.

Location and Transportation

Serengeti Park Resort is located in Hodenhagen, 50 km from Langenhagen. It is on the southern edge of Lüneburg Heath, near the Walsrode motorway junction, Westenholz exit. From the motorway exit, it takes 3 minutes to reach the park gates. The Hodenhagen train station is nearby, accessible by a signposted footpath or cab. The park is approximately an hour's drive from Hamburg, Hanover, and Bremen. The park provides a secure car park within the Safari Lodge and Masai Mara Lodge compounds.

Services Available

The Serengeti Park provides group tickets and reduced admission for school trips and people with disabilities. For every 15 students, one accompanying adult receives free admission. Dog are allowed with a lead. A Serengeti bus tour is available for 6.50 euros per person. Animal sponsorships are offered, supporting animal welfare and species protection. Each sponsorship includes a certificate with a photo of the animal and a sign on the godfather wall in Serengeti Park. Various levels of sponsorship include one to five free tickets for two people each.
