“Senator Cadiz emphasizes location in the old town, plus on-site perks like its Aquaplaya urban spa and rooftop pool with city views. I think the hotel's versatility as a venue stands out, hosting both business events and family stays. The breakfast gets high marks for variety, but some rooms apparently need maintenance.”

rooftop swimming pool breakfast buffet dinner recommendation
the rooftop swimming pool was a GREAT amenity . It offered a refreshing escape after exploring. The included breakfast buffet was gorgeous with many choices. Frontdesk staff provided a dinner recommendation that I really enjoyed.
the air conditioning in my room did not seem to work properly. I know the window had to be closed. The room temperature remained unchanged whether or not the aircon was on. This made sleeping difficult.

Acceptable Hotel with Some Issues
attentive staff central location low standard smoking room
The breakfast staff seemed attentive. They was pleasant. The central location was very well priced even before the discount. The staff gave discount on the parking and for the dog.
My first room had a very low standard. I got a room where someone had been smoking in it. The second room had no AC and I could not have the window open. This was because of the noise coming from the bar under the windows.

The hotel's location was good. It made getting around pretty easy.
The air conditioning was practically useless (a real disappointment). I basically had to sleep with a wet towel to stay cool, which isn't exactly the height of luxury. It was a warm stay.
