Each of the 21 rooms features memory foam mattresses, high-speed wireless internet, a 32-inch flat-screen TV with cable, a mini fridge, luggage racks, microwave, feather duvets, a private bathroom with shower, a hair dryer, locally made soap, and a coffee maker and kettle. Harbor King Rooms overlook the Port of Ilwaco and Columbia River. Queen Rooms accommodate two adults. Bunk Rooms have a custom queen or king-size bunk, and can accommodate up to 3 adults. All rooms are pet-friendly with a $30 pet fee per stay; throw sheets and towels are provided. A maximum of two pets per room is allowed.

The family-friendly pub offers dockside dining with a seasonal menu of locally sourced fare from land and sea, including fish and chips, clam chowder, and beer on tap. Fresh seafood, vegetarian options, craft cocktails, and local wines are available. Guests can dine inside or on the dog-friendly patio.
Events and Activities
The hotel offers access to a Norwegian sauna. The harbor-side event space, ideal for 10 to 60 people, features views of the Port of Ilwaco and the Columbia River. It can accommodate up to 110 people from October to mid-March. The space is suitable for small parties, reunions, and receptions. Fishing is available near the hotel. Fly tying classes are run by Spawn Fly Fish. The region celebrates an annual birding event at the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. The Long Beach Razor Clam Festival is celebrated annually in May. The Pacific Graveyard Gamers host a board games afternoon in February. The Ilwaco Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from May to September.

Salt Hotel & Pub is located in Ilwaco, near Astoria, Cape Discovery State Park, Long Beach, and the Discovery bike trail. It is 5 minutes to the Seaview Beach Approach, 7 minutes to Long Beach, and 2 minutes to the Discovery Coast Trail terminus.
