charming stay near everything!!!

superb locationhelpful stafflimited privacy
I was really surprised by the superb location. It's a short walk to the palace, just perfect. the staff proved very helpful with recommendations for local food and parking, which i appreciated. i also liked that the hotel allowed us to leave bags after checkout until we were ready to travel. This was helpful.
my room faced the street, and pedestrians could easily see inside, which wasn't ideal. i would have liked a shutter for added privacy.
Rooms

The family room offered efficiency with space to move around and it was kept very clean. i especially appreciated that the room was freshened up, even with only a two night stay planned. What a nice touch.

charming stay near palace

spiral staircasehomemade marmaladelocal spotstreet window
i found it unique compared to typical chain hotels i've stayed at. the spiral staircase added character it held only two people. sylvie offered homemade marmalade during breakfast. she also gave insights about local spots away from the palace i visited local fruit stands.
the room window faced the street people passing by could see inside it. the room felt humid and cold there was no heating available. unfortunately one of us caught a cold because of the room conditions.
Facilities

the hotel features an uneven spiral staircase a lift holds two people at a time. breakfast service included homemade marmalade making it unique it happened in a cozy setting.
