Dining Choices
Wellington's Steakhouse combines steaks and seafood. The Windsor Lounge overlooks the Ohio River with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace. Ben's Bistro offers a half-sandwich and cup of soup with a printed receipt. A fully stocked bar is available at the Sportsbook.
Casino and More
Rising Star Casino includes slot machines with various denominations, such as pennies, nickels, and dollars. Table games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mississippi Stud, Three Card Poker, and Crazy Four Poker. The resort also includes an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness center.
Location and Access
Rising Star Casino Resort is located off Indiana 56 in Rising Sun, Indiana, along the Ohio River, 50 km from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International. The Rising Star Ferry provides access to Rising Sun and Rabbit Hash. The Casino at Grand Victoria is 0.5 km away.
Resort Services
Rising Star Casino Resort RV Park features pull-thru spots (50 ft length) with 20/30/50 amp hook-ups. The RV park is pet-friendly (up to 3 pets). The resort provides free wireless internet, a Pro Shop for golf accessories, and local and regional weekly entertainment at the Anchor Lounge.
“Rising Star Casino Resort presents a mixed bag; while the casino and golf course provide solid entertainment, some lodging options, like those in the lodge, seem less convenient and potentially challenging for guests with mobility issues. The resort clearly aims for a comprehensive experience with dining and gaming, but attention to detail in all accommodation areas seems inconsistent. I think travelers should confirm room specifics to match their needs for an optimal visit.”
