charmed by this unexpected gem
soundproofed roomgenerous breakfastunrepaired safe
The room was beautifully renovated and soundproofed. It was comfortable. the staff were friendly and accommodating. i found the breakfast delicious and generous. the location proved convenient. Both parc de la villette and parc des buttes chaumont were within walking distance, and several restaurants were nearby.
the safe in my room was non operational and remained unrepaired. i reported the issue but it was never addressed . this was inconvenient, i would have appreciated a working safe for securing valuables.

The metro access was great. Breakfast also was decent.
The Wi-Fi rarely worked. I stayed on the 5th floor. The room was very hot. They seemed unwilling to turn on the air con. This.

faulty air conditioningbasic breakfast
the air conditioning did not work properly i found this very frustrating. i told the staff but they did not fix it i had to sleep with the window open. this meant i got bitten by mosquitoes. the breakfast was also quite basic not what i expect for the price i paid.
