Qualia, exclusively for guests ages 16 or over, provides 60 luxury private pavilions with views across the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands. Choose from Leeward Pavilions, which provide a hideaway featuring a mix of tropical bushland and sea views, or Windward Pavilions, offering private plunge pools. The Beach House includes a spacious entertaining area, private lawns, a separate guesthouse, and a private full-size swimming pool. The Sunset Pavilion features self-catering options, while The Residence offers three bedrooms.
Dining at qualia
Joshua Hingston, qualia executive chef, sources the freshest Queensland produce for qualia's two restaurants. Long Pavilion restaurant is set high among the Eucalyptus trees with views, and Pebble Beach restaurant is on the edge of the sand. Signature food and wine pairing experiences, Talk and Taste sessions, are held at the Long Pavilion, including Wine and Cheese, Sake and Sashimi, and Champagne and Oysters. Pebble Beach offers seafood and dishes designed around local produce. The restaurant menu is also available to order poolside or in-pavilion.
Leisure and wellness
Guests can relax at the Pebble Beach infinity-edge pool, set amidst gardens overlooking the Whitsunday Islands, or participate in beach and water sports. Hamilton Island's interior features bushwalking trails leading to views of the Whitsunday Islands and Coral Sea. Guests can enjoy four nights of relaxing luxury at qualia and diving out on the Great Barrier Reef, sailing to the inner and outer reefs on Explore. Spa qualia offers treatments. qualia's gym overlooks the waters of Pebble Beach.
Location and access
Qualia is located on the northernmost tip of Hamilton Island, near Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef. It is 5 km from Hamilton Island. Guests can arrive at Hamilton Island Airport and take a VIP transfer. Passenger ferries sail to Hamilton Island from Shute Harbour and Port of Airlie on the Whitsunday mainland. Hamilton Island Golf Club is located on neighbouring Dent Island.
Guest services
Qualia provides electric golf buggies for guest use around Hamilton Island. VIP transfers are available for island exploring. The qualia guest services team is available. Guests can enjoy a private beach drop-off. Qualia includes one luxury sunset cruise around the Whitsunday Islands, one poolside dinner, a bottle of French champagne, VIP return Hamilton Island Airport/Marina transfers and one 2-seater electric golf buggy.
