Hotel History
Pest-Buda opened in 1696 in the Castle District. Nöpauer Máté, the master builder of St Anna Church and St Flórián Chapel, owned the Pest-Buda Hotel & Bistro building at that time. Interior designer Somlai Tibor researched the venue's profile. Ipacs Géza, a graphic designer known for wine label designs, developed the main concept and graphic design. The Zsidai family has been in hospitality for over three decades. Pest-Buda blends the modern and the historical. The Zsidai Group operates multiple restaurants around the city.
