slow check-indeclined transaction

I had to wait to check in because only one staff member seemed capable of doing it. There were two computers available though. another staff member did step in. But the debit card machine declined two transactions when payment in eur was selected. Even though it was offered.

The room was very clean, I appreciated that so much! Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly too. I was happy with the nice walk-in shower. The mattresses were firm yet comfortable. I got a good night's sleep.

the hotel location was great, very close to the train station.

the tv in the room did not work as advertised with streaming services. i asked about this five times, but the staff never resolved the issue (it was quite frustrating). additionally, the shower gel bottle was empty upon arrival.

the staff were helpful and nice. the location is near the city center and the train station is about a 10 min walk. the dublin coaches arrive there also.

the room was quite basic, newly refurbished but lacking drawers for clothes. a few hangers on the wall were not sufficient for a weekend.

moxy, a surprisingly good stay!

the shower was really good in my queen room. i also liked the welcome cocktail. the lobby had a nice vibe and friendly staff were around.

the building site close to my room on the third floor, caused some noise at night. that was really annoying.

the location is very central, with shopping areas a short walk away. grand central station is less than ten minutes by foot from the hotel, and i have noted that this facilitates moving around.

i saw the lobby area and it was fun with games and hipster decor. my room was clean and newly refurbished, and had a good sensor lighting system and all you need. the hotel offers efficient service.
