The Paris Hotel enjoys a fantastic location directly on the harbour in Coverack, providing easy access to the coast path and free parking at the rear. Many guests appreciate the rooms with lovely sea views, some offering views of the bay and harbour from multiple windows. Guests enjoyed the pub food, particularly the fresh calamari and haloumi served with warm ciabatta, while the full Cornish breakfast (including a vegetarian option) is another highlight; although a few guests have noted smaller room sizes. The hotel is very close to the waves crashing and the sunsets with tables outside are especially enjoyable.

Underwhelming Experience

mediocre foodself-service experience
I booked an evening meal and it felt... rushed. We got an email stating we would have to leave the table by 20:15. Then, another email threatened that if we were more than 15 minutes late, we would lose the table! When we arrived, the place was nearly empty. I had to fetch my own cutlery and hunt for salt. The food, mediocre at best, hardly.

very nice locationfriendly staffstained carpetdirty cabinet
the location was very nice! i woke up each morning to the sunrise over the sea. mazey, brooke, and phebe were all very hospitable and friendly. mazey even collected shampoo and conditioner for me when i realized i had forgotten mine, very kind of her.
the staircase to my room had a very dirty, old stained carpet. the carpet in my bedroom also had stains. i saw a dirty extension lead and a dusty cabinet under the tv. i found the food underwhelming.

funny smelldodgy wood
the room, a double room, had a funny smell i cant quite put my finger on. it wasnt terrible but noticeable. also, the shower pressure was pathetic. i struggled to rinse the shampoo from my hair and honestly questioned the structural integrity of the fire escape. the wood looks decidedly dodgy to me.
